The Alcove Gift & Art Gallery is located at 143 Christina St. South and has been at this present location as an art and gift shop for over 20 years.
The Alcove Gift & Art Gallery carries a large selection of limited edition prints from North American, European and Local artists. We also carry original works of art, such as acrylics, watercolours and oil paintings. We have many catalogues of posters that customers can look through at their leisure. We also offer picture framing for any art or artefact that needs to be framed. All frames and mats are cut and put together on-site by a very talented and qualified staff member.
This turn-of-the-century home is filled with a large selection of Canadiana gift items, fashion and sterling silver jewellery, functional and decorative pottery, pewter, mouth blown glass wares, aluminium and steel sculptures and hand made journals and albums and much more. We aim to focus our inventory to be made in Canada and the United States but do have some imported items.
When choosing items for the store we try to find unique and different items that are appropriate for gift giving and to invoke laughter and good thoughts.
In 2009, the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce awarded the Alcove Gift & Art Gallery won the "Outstanding Customer Service Award" at the 2009 Outstanding Business Achievement award ceremony. We are sincerely honoured to have been nominated for this category and presented this award.
